Romney made no bones about cutting PBS and naturally Libtards assumed that he logically hated Sesame Street. It’s a logical assumption, after all, if you have the reasoning ability of a six-year-old.
Recently he turned down an interview with Nickelodeon because unlike Obama, he’s got people to meet with, places to go, and things to do that don’t involve fluffing his ego.
“First Big Bird, now Nickelodeon,” cracked Washington Post TV critic Lisa de Moraes. “What’s up with Mitt Romney and kids?”
Linda Ellerbee, “Kids Pick the President” host and a former NBC anchor and reporter and CNN commentator, denounced Romney for his decision. “That’s several million kids who actually want to get involved in the democratic process,” Ellerbee said. “They don’t deserve to be dissed. But former Gov. Romney also blew off Letterman and Big Bird, so I guess we’re in good company.”
Several million kids may want to be involved in the democratic process… is that so? Well, if Obama can just write an Executive Order to grant amnesty to illegal aliens, he ought to be able to involve those little moppets.
But Romney… Romney obviously hates muppets and moppets. Obviously.
I want to find the cartoonist “Reynolds” and tell him “Well done for not showing horrified muppets. Hungry muppets are much better.”
No, he doesn’t. It’s just that KIDS CAN’T VOTE, ADULTS VOTE, AND KIDS AREN’T MATURE ENOUGH TO MAKE AN INFORMED DECISION.
They aren’t being dissed, to be totally blunt, they don’t matter in the electoral process. So Ellerbee, sit down, shut up, and hang on.
Well gee. Kids can influence their parents’ decisions, can’t they? Plus, imagine all the feel-good liberals of the 47% that he might reach.
I was reading a responder to an article regarding Romney calling the Pawlucy girl that was harassed by her teacher for wearing his campaign shirt. Why do libtards insist on SHOUTING all their responses, and why did this libtard think the 47% Romney isn’t able to reach only consists of the entire middle class? What is most shameful is how all the kids in that family are having to change schools because of one teacher’s actions, and the ensuing media frenzy surrounding them.
Then we have 78 yr old bus drivers telling a 12 year old that maybe his mom should have aborted him in response to their campaign sign and the kid’s reference to Obama being pro-choice? What is it with Leftist fanatics thinking it is okay to lambast anyone in their way, but if they see someone on the right behaving even minimally poorly, they shout and freak and rage?

I’ve never liked Ellerbee, and when she was picked to be the news director for Nickelodeon, I freakin’ KNEW that the tilt would swing left within the first “Kids Pick the President” episode. I was right. She totally coached the kids into going for Clinton in ’92, again in ’96, and Gore in ’00. I stopped torturing myself after that debacle.
She only wants kids involved so they can be indoctrinated. There is NO educational value to her show. She doesn’t speak of civics, or laws.
Oh, and I remember after Obama was elected how ALL of the Nick stars were celebrating in the first ever inagural show. Guess whose idea was it??
