… and I’m all out of bubble gum.

Terrific homage paid to “They Live” – link sent to me by The Dude.  Saw this in the theater alongside The Prince of Darkness in such a state of alteredness that I could barely speak coherently (college days, don’t you know?).  Anyways… for those who love cult films, this is a must see… and here is why:   They Live.

I know he’s not the most popular fella right now, and I’m no fan of him either, but he speaks the truth here: The current economic situation bears ZERO relation to the Great Depression.

Another case of someone knowing what is good for us using their particular brand of logic.  Except for one teensy-weensy problem with the logic. Can you spot it?


Proving yet again that he does indeed have a right to be a complete horse’s ass:

“My staff tells me not to say this, but I’m going to say it anyway,” said Reid in his remarks. “In the summer because of the heat and high humidity, you could literally smell the tourists coming into the Capitol. It may be descriptive but it’s true.”

But it’s no longer going to be true, noted Reid, thanks to the air conditioned, indoor space.

And that’s not all.   “We have many bathrooms here, as you can see,” Reid continued. “Souvenirs are available.”

Heaven forbid if the elite had to smell the great unwashed masses. Someone needs to have a blanket party for these arrogant asses.
