I’ve been thinking, could Neuticles be used as an alternative to chipping your pet?  Perhaps a animal control worker runs across a stray cat or dog… they wave the sniffer over the animal’s butt and presto they can tell if Fido or Fluffy is bona-fide or not.

John Stossel weighed in on Healthcare, in the form that they use in Singapore, Health Savings Accounts.

I’m not arguing with Stossel because I like the way he is thinking, but will someone explain how this is different than 30 years ago when we all bought our own damn insurance?  Health care costs were lower and we had to pick and choose when we thought it was time to go see the doc.  Survival rate was pretty good, too.

What isn’t so amusing are the fruit-bats who do sh*t that treats children as mere collateral damage:

• PETA and their “comics” of animals being tested upon – examples: here and here – hell, go buy some if you happen to groove on this… this… this stuff.  Personally I think “Faces of Death” has more merit (and I loathe the very existence of that crap)
• PETA and their “meals” to kids at McDonald’s – this is some sick stuff, folks
• Polar bears falling out of the sky at planetstupid.com (how appropriate) – I actually laughed my ass off, which probably just proves I’m a sick bastard, but oh well
• Maxine Clark and her polar bear idiocy, which I assume she believes that somehow scaring kids makes a better argument than actual science (go to Soylent Green for the link to her brand of weird stuff)
• Animal Liberation Front (ALF) and bombs – and the Animal Rights Militia
• Spotted owl protesters in people’s faces all over the NW (seriously it got scary at times)
