Have you tried the Doritos 2nd Degree Burn Buffalo Wing flavor chips?
You know I’m a chilihead.
You should also know that 20 minutes later my mouth was still on fire. My guts didn’t know how to respond. Next day I noticed it then, too. So I can offer the following advice:
GO FOR IT!!!
I’m surprised that Doritos did something that daring. No, they aren’t Blair’s Death Rain Potato Chips, but they are something to be reckoned with.
If you like heat you’ll be surprised. If you are a chili lightweight, it’s training, confidence-building, and character-building.

Bill Clinton, never able to remain silent for long.
“What we learned from Oklahoma City is not that we should gag each other or that we should reduce our passion for the positions we hold – but that the words we use really do matter, because there’s this vast echo chamber, and they go across space and they fall on the serious and the delirious alike. They fall on the connected and the unhinged alike,” he said.
“One of the things that the conservatives have always brought to the table in America is a reminder that no law can replace personal responsibility. And the more power you have and the more influence you have, the more responsibility you have.”
Perhaps he could give Obama some pointers. But I hope he doesn’t, because Obama is the best thing for the right-of-center folks, just by spouting off.
But here’s a tip for Mr. Clinton – we don’t need you to help us choose our words. You weren’t a “calming influence” while folks were bashing Bush, so don’t take “the high road” now.

On revolt and other matters…
People keep talking about the Revolution and revolting as a response to current events. There’s crucial differences.
Then, the colonists were against England’s Parliament, any form of monarchy, and taxes. Taxes higher now? They say they are. But here’s the thing – then, the loss of the the form of government that they had was a good thing, and they contrived and embraced the system (the ideals of) we have now.
To incite revolt would be to say that the system we have now must be scrapped and replaced. To give up what we have now would be a catastrophic mistake, because as flawed as it is, and even as corrupt as our representatives are, I defy you to find a better system.
chili head also. But those Doritos taste like metal filings. Ok, the other hot flavor; never tried the B Wings flavor. Hot, yes, but not a good hot. A chemical peel in your mouth.
And they’re so damn expensive too, considering it’s just corn meal and spices.
Pass.
Personally, I took Slick Willy’s message as more of the DNC machine smear campaign. Tea Party = Protest = Don’t Agree With Obama = Racist Terrorist.
If my words move you to violence then that is your choice, not by my order. And this, this “words have meaning” schtick brought to you by the fat chick fucker who sat on the witness stand and said “it all depends on what your definition of ‘is’ is”. The gall. What pandering fellators the MSM is, that they didn’t laugh him right off the screen. The cheating lying scumbag now has veritas and gravitas? No way.
(PS – Hey Bill, is it Christmas yet? You promised us our troops would be home from Kosovo by Christmas. 15 years ago.)
Note, drew, that I did not say that they are great, but they satisfy my need for something spicy at night when I don’t have any more salsa or the regular tortilla chips went stale. They really aren’t Blair’s Death Rain chips (red savinas in there, I hear) but they’ll do. My dog even likes them.
Bill C’s message was pure smear. Never for a minute construe his words as anything but self-serving.
Freedom to choose – freedom, period – is what makes this country great. Everyone had a choice this morning – go to work and be a useful part of society or be a nut like McVeigh – most of us don’t even think twice about doing what is right (which is to not be an asshole and hurt others) and there are some who decide to be a nut (which is why everyone should be armed to stop that nonsense before good people get hurt).
But the real point of what I was saying was that violence should not be used until the system is irrevocably broken because violence in and of itself (if the desired end was revolt) has the real potential to break the system.
I say Obama is the best thing for right-of-center in the sense that he’s the perfect thing to drive thinking people to the right – all he has to do is be his own sweet self to sink the Democrats.
I have an artistic question arising from the other end of the heat spectrum. More of a vision really–kind of like that Picasso of the dancers in a ring. I need an expert opinion. Take a look, and see what vision it conjures up for you.

Great point about the revolt and revolution comparison. The only possible way this government could be dismantled is if the military steps in. Far fetched? Perhaps, but the reality is that the DOD is really the only entity that has the power to do so outside voting the bastards out.
Having said that, I’m not sure what scares me more; out of control tax spend happy communism or military regimes.
If any of the pro-revolution group out there think that what we now have is bad, then I wonder how they would feel with any of knucklehead elite (lawyers, etc) forming a totally new government from scratch.
So the US Constitution has been tarnished of late, but it is still in play and it is still the best legal document ever written.
Check this out.

Major League, smothered in awesome.
I’ll expect a rough version of the packaging shortly.
I think of the “revolution” that we speak of now as an inward one. Not scrapping the government, but rather making the government adhere to its own words.
Pass on hot stuffs. Sorry. I like my tongue 🙂
I would tell Billy C to fuck off, but I doubt there is anyone left on the left he hasn’t done.
Cbullit, the eco-tard post is foaming at the mouth with awesomeness. I think I might have to post that one myself.
I got into chilihead world because good Thai and Indian cuisine is too expensive and too far away.
As much as I love chili, and my personal recipe that uses 40 chilis a pound of meat and 1 can of beans is bangin, most of the time I’d prefer the complexities of Thai. Both can be red hot, white hot, or just hot enough.
I get roti cravings sometimes, and that dahl baji stuff is addiction in a bowl. A real hot vindaloo is good too.
I can only agree that Obama is the best wake-up call ever if he is limited to being a wake-up call. So far, he hasn’t been stopped. Slowed down a lot, but not stopped. Keep the pressure on, and get to the polls in November.
LC Aggie – yes, the revolution has to be inward. Or go forward into the past; the future government does not need to be new, it just needs to go back to being what it was supposed to be … about 115 years ago. No, not with the gold standard or segregation or no voting rights. Just a whole lot more limited with a whole lot less rules and regs.
The problem with that limited a government is that we will need the citizens to ramp up and stand up in a damn big hurry. Most will be able to, but there will be plenty who can’t or won’t. So, many will die. Harden yourself to that.
