Ya-hoo! I am home. And man am I glad.
I left Dallas and it’s 100F+ temperature days behind me and returned to steamy SE Michigan where it is only 98F. Yes, Aggie, it was a cold front in Dallas.
Oh, and before I forget… I would like to cast back into the murky depths of the past, as long ago as 48 hours or so, when I expressed frustration at the failure of one of my things to work, and a commenter said:
Praps whatcher tryink to do is unpossible? Ya ever mebbe tink about dat schmott guy? – Mitchell
I can only respond thusly:
Neener, neener, neener. Got data. My design worked. Not upossible. – Syned, Lemur King (a really humble kind of sparky fella)
It was a grueling and painful week filled with long days traveling and in the lab, but it worked.
And I am home, where I have been hugged by my kids at random no less than seven times and assaulted by Jilly-boo as she demanded a long (1-1/2 hour) session of power-scritching.
Cruel Wife couldn’t tear herself away from pictures of Brad Pitt and Val Kilmer long enough to say “Hi”.
Actually, she took time out of her day off to come pick me up at the airport with the kids. We’ll go get my jeep from the airline parking lot tomorrow when I’m more up to driving.
More of a fun post on the way.
Congrats on the success! I never doubted you. Now rest up and take it easy.
Oh, btw – don’t look at this video. You don’t want anything like that.
Bah. HTML-fu failure. Seriously, don’t look at this.
And the crowd rejoiced! (Yaaaaaaay).
Welcome home, glad that you proved all those naysayers wrong!
Yay!
Now…………………………..relax! Sleep!
And be comforted in the sure and certain knowledge that your chart was right and true! You will chase engineering excellence round Good Hope, and round the Horn, and round the Norway maelstrom, and round perdition’s flames before you give it up!
I had no doubt you would succeed. It was only to be expected 😉
And glad to hear you are home, where you can be loved and coddled in the comfort of your surroundings. That 98* makes a difference, doesn’t it??
I’m still enjoying the dry heat. I went from 100 and 98% humidity to 115 and 15%. Of course, DC is probably cooler but still freaking humid.
A question, have you decided to boycott this blog too LK?
I’m with you.
