Update:

Funeral home cuts legs off corpse to fit casket.

Can you imagine the conversation afterwards?

I specifically asked you if it was closed or open casket!  You said it was closed!

Lesson learned?   BREAK the legs instead.

Speaking of cockroaches… Ahmadinejad says Holocaust a big deception.

Can someone tell me why it is suddenly so important to befriend muslims in the region even though they typically support tyrannical and despotic leaderships?  Oh, I know!  It’s our “practicing christian” president who suddenly finds pride in his muslim name now that he’s elected.  Along with his “finally proud of America on my own terms” wife, Michelle, they’re turning over new leaves.

In reference to race issues as pertaining to blacks, a gentleman on NPR known only by the name McCoy said:

“The United States has not changed at all since the 1800’s.”

Surely you must be joking.

Obama’s speech in Egypt was chilling.

As a student of history, I also know civilization’s debt to Islam. It was Islam – at places like Al-Azhar University – that carried the light of learning through so many centuries, paving the way for Europe’s Renaissance and Enlightenment. It was innovation in Muslim communities that developed the order of algebra; our magnetic compass and tools of navigation; our mastery of pens and printing; our understanding of how disease spreads and how it can be healed. Islamic culture has given us majestic arches and soaring spires; timeless poetry and cherished music; elegant calligraphy and places of peaceful contemplation. And throughout history, Islam has demonstrated through words and deeds the possibilities of religious tolerance and racial equality.

Huh.  That’s funny.  It hasn’t given us diddly or squat for hundreds of years.  As far as the rest… who do you think you’re kidding?  What history are you a student of, really?

I have come here to seek a new beginning between the United States and Muslims around the world; one based upon mutual interest and mutual respect; and one based upon the truth that America and Islam are not exclusive, and need not be in competition. Instead, they overlap, and share common principles – principles of justice and progress; tolerance and the dignity of all human beings.

Seriously?  With sharia law allowing stonings?  Beating of women?  Disfigurement?  Beheadings?

For human history has often been a record of nations and tribes subjugating one another to serve their own interests.

It has always been subjugation throughout history.  Until the rise of the West in the latter part of the 20th century, that is.

As the Holy Koran tells us, “Be conscious of God and speak always the truth.” That is what I will try to do – to speak the truth as best I can, humbled by the task before us, and firm in my belief that the interests we share as human beings are far more powerful than the forces that drive us apart.

Sorry, but a christian is not going to refer to the Koran as “The Holy Koran”.

Moreover, freedom in America is indivisible from the freedom to practice one’s religion. That is why there is a mosque in every state of our union, and over 1,200 mosques within our borders. That is why the U.S. government has gone to court to protect the right of women and girls to wear the hijab, and to punish those who would deny it.

Those words were chosen deliberately.

Because we reject the same thing that people of all faiths reject: the killing of innocent men, women, and children. And it is my first duty as President to protect the American people.

Where is he getting this stuff?

The Holy Koran teaches that whoever kills an innocent, it is as if he has killed all mankind; and whoever saves a person, it is as if he has saved all mankind.

Wow.  I’m glad they live by the Koran, otherwise women would be stoned to death for being anywhere a strange man, women may be given 200 lashes for being raped, honor killings of daughters might occur, and blasphemous remarks might be punishable by death.

And we have Osama bin Laden’s support, I see.  Bin Laden calls for long war against “infidels”.  If he wasn’t so dedicated to peace we might have a problem without a solution.

Unlike Afghanistan, Iraq was a war of choice that provoked strong differences in my country and around the world. Although I believe that the Iraqi people are ultimately better off without the tyranny of Saddam Hussein, I also believe that events in Iraq have reminded America of the need to use diplomacy and build international consensus to resolve our problems whenever possible.

As we can see that diplomacy was working so well with Saddam, is with Ahmadinejad, Kim Jong Il, Russia, and Venezuela.

So America will defend itself respectful of the sovereignty of nations and the rule of law. And we will do so in partnership with Muslim communities which are also threatened. The sooner the extremists are isolated and unwelcome in Muslim communities, the sooner we will all be safer.

Yup, let’s just all hold our breath and think “Kumbaya” really hard while the “moderate muslims” jump right up and flush those bad guys out.  Obviously they’ve just been waiting for our positive imagery.

On the other hand, it is also undeniable that the Palestinian people – Muslims and Christians – have suffered in pursuit of a homeland. For more than sixty years they have endured the pain of dislocation. Many wait in refugee camps in the West Bank, Gaza, and neighboring lands for a life of peace and security that they have never been able to lead. They endure the daily humiliations – large and small – that come with occupation. So let there be no doubt: the situation for the Palestinian people is intolerable. America will not turn our backs on the legitimate Palestinian aspiration for dignity, opportunity, and a state of their own.

Need it be pointed out that Arabs drove the Palestinians out and towards Israel?  I guess so.  While we are so focused on Palestinians as victims, let’s not forget that this is a culture that danced in the street and fired weapons in the air, cheering, as they received news about the WTC destruction on 9/11.  I cannot recall a single instance where Americans have cheered at the misfortune of others.

Later he forgets that history has shown otherwise…

I know there has been controversy about the promotion of democracy in recent years, and much of this controversy is connected to the war in Iraq. So let me be clear: no system of government can or should be imposed upon one nation by any other.

I don’t know – Japan did rather well.

Likewise, it is important for Western countries to avoid impeding Muslim citizens from practicing religion as they see fit – for instance, by dictating what clothes a Muslim woman should wear. We cannot disguise hostility towards any religion behind the pretence of liberalism.

Okay.  So I couldn’t pray or display a crucifix in public because that is offensive.  A Hajib is a very visual practice of religion.  How are they different?

The NY-Post had something to say, as they accused him of “buttering up” Cairo:

The problem with talking so much is that you eventually just start babbling and saying a bunch of stuff that makes no sense.

At one point, Obama fretted over the rise of new power that, to the horror of civilized people, exudes an obsessed and twisted view of “sexuality” and “mindless violence.”

Islamo-fascism?

No, the Internet.

They guy is confronting one of the most evil and relentless mindsets in the history of man and he finds room in his big address to whine about the Internet — by far a greater tool for freedom than anything else.

Wow, is Hillary morphing. It’s not choose the best candidate, one you like and believe in, but choose any candidate that has a better chance of winning, even if they are revolting, even if they drink babies’ blood. That shows a new level of desperation among candidates and voters alike.

“Choose who you believe will make the strongest candidate in the fall,” she said at her Charleston rally in a pitch aimed at superdelegates. She was returning to Washington to meet Wednesday with some of them.

Shown here, she is taking a break, sipping babies’ blood as it is considered impolite to actually drink straight from the victim in public.

Fox News Article: OPEC Turns Back On Neighbors

We knew this was happening because of food crops being used unwisely and wheat rust (wheat-disease-threatens-global-crops). But wouldn’t you think that since the muslims are so good at hating the rest of the world they might at least love each other? Guess not.

Please note that we lead in donations, at $1B. Do you think that this means anything to anyone in terms of our general popularity? That’s a pass.
